Receive Your QR Code

After payment, you’ll receive an e-ticket with a QR code. Present it at the museum entrance.

Advance booking is mandatory. Reservations are required for all visitors, including those eligible for free admission. Only advance booking guarantees entry to the museum.

Museum Admission (EEA) €22 Citizens & residents of EEA countries. Valid photo ID required.
Museum Admission (Non-EEA) €32 All other visitors. No residency documents needed.
Under 18 / Under 26 (EEA) Free Valid photo ID with date of birth required. Time-slot recommended.
Musée Delacroix (standalone) €9 Free with Louvre ticket on same day or next day.
Audio Guide €6 9 languages. Rented on-site only, on the day of visit.
Guided Tour (full price) €12 In French, English, Spanish, Italian. Separate from admission.
Guided Tour (reduced) €9 For visitors eligible for reduced rates (under 18, under 26 EEA, etc.).

Who Can Visit for Free?

The following visitors are eligible for free admission. A valid ID or supporting document is required at entry. Time-slot booking is strongly recommended.

Eligible Visitors

  • Visitors under 18 years old (all nationalities) — valid photo ID required
  • Visitors under 26 who are citizens of an EEA country — valid photo ID required
  • Visitors under 26 who are EEA residents with a residence permit >90 days
  • Visitors with disabilities and one accompanying person — disability card required
  • Art teachers (plastic arts, archaeology, applied arts, architecture, art history) from EEA countries
  • ICOM and ICOMOS members — valid membership card required
  • Journalists — national or international press card required
  • Job seekers (EEA residents) — proof dated within the last year
  • Income support recipients (EEA residents) — proof valid for less than 6 months

Free Admission Days

  • First Friday of each month after 6:00 PM (except July and August)
  • July 14 (Bastille Day) — free for all visitors

Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-modifiable. They are valid only for the selected date and time slot. Refunds apply only if the museum cancels the service.

Once you leave the museum, re-entry is not permitted with the same ticket. Plan everything you want to see before exiting.

On-site ticket offices accept cash, bank cards, and Chèques-Vacances. Online bookings accept major credit and debit cards.

A valid photo ID is required for EEA-rate tickets and free admission. Photocopies are not accepted. Bring the original document.

Last Entry

Last admission is 1 hour before closing. Rooms begin to clear 30 minutes before closing time.

€6 per device, available in 9 languages. Must be rented on-site on the day of your visit. Cannot be pre-booked online.

Fraud Alert: The Louvre warns visitors about fraudulent ticket sellers. Beware of mirror websites, “skip-the-line” offers, and street vendors. Only purchase tickets through the official platform at ticket.louvre.fr. Fraudulent tickets may result in denied entry.
